Crimson Tide

Crimson tide is also a metaphor for menstruation. Life on Earth depends on tidal rhythms, and tides depend on the Moon. Menstruation is a miniature of the rhythmic movement of life on Earth.
The installation shows the current moon phase and the real-time tidal change at NYC's Battery Station.
